House parties: Celebrate in a Castle

The castle is exclusively yours for a minimum of two nights at weekends (if including a Friday or Saturday). One night bookings are available midweek except in August, at Christmas & New Year and during school Easter & half term holidays.
Rates are negotiable depending on your requirements, the time of year and days of the week and start at £10,200 to include afternoon tea, dinner, bed & breakfast for two nights for up to 28 adults.
We can also quote for the inclusion of canapes, lunch, a fully stocked bar and wine at a fixed price, entertainment, adventure activities, outings and itineraries.
The charge is for the exclusive use of the castle rather than per person and there is no reduction for under occupancy. You get the castle to yourselves which means:
- no sharing with strangers
- the castle is closed to non-residents for afternoon tea and dinner
- you can choose your own menus
- stay up as late as you like without disturbing others
- organise whatever entertainment you wish
- you have our undivided attention including planning your event
Add something extra to your celebration to give your party an extra dimension where we put together all the ideas for a weekend that fits your personal style and taste.
A houseparty booking can be secured with a £1000 non returnable deposit. The balance of the booking is payable four weeks in advance of the party date.
Cancellation within four weeks of the booked date will incur cancellation charges on a sliding scale up to the full cost of the booking.
Whilst we can assist you in arranging third party services we are not responsible for the failure of third parties to deliver those services and remain responsible only for the provision of accommodation, food and drink.
We do not accept group bookings of more than six rooms (twelve adults) at times when we would expect to be fully booked unless they take exclusive use of the castle. Experience shows us that the dynamics of a group are very different from those of unrelated guests. An exclusive houseparty is a very special event and our houseparty charges reflect that.
